Fender American Vintage 1952 Telecaster Butter Scotch Blonde electric guitar
A '52 Telecaster has just arrived.
This model comes in the highly popular "Butterscotch Blonde" finish and features a 50th Anniversary neck plate. Based on the neck date, it appears to be a 2005 production.
It has all the classic specs: an ash body, one-piece maple neck, and black Bakelite pickguard. The use of slotted screws is another authentic detail true to the original vintage style.
The truss rod has plenty of room, and the neck is in excellent condition.
The wiring has been modified from the original vintage wiring to the more commonly used modern (standard) wiring.
There are no noticeable fret dents from play, and the frets are in great shape.
There is a finish crack at the neck joint—a common cosmetic issue that does not affect playability.
As expected from a used instrument, there are light scratches and play marks, but no major or noticeable damage. There are also very few buckle scratches on the back, indicating excellent care.
The well-preserved condition suggests the previous owner hardly used it and stored it carefully.
What truly stands out is the condition of the frets and neck.
It plays perfectly and is in outstanding playing condition.
It’s rare to find a 20-year-old example in this kind of shape.
