A used Jackson USA Select Series Soloist SL1, believed to be manufactured around 2006 based on its serial number and catalog documentation, has just arrived in stock.

The USA Select Series is built based on some of the most popular custom orders received by the Jackson Custom Shop, and it remains a flagship line within Jackson’s catalog. However, in Japan, these models are difficult to obtain due to the custom-order nature and extremely long lead times—often stretching over several years.

This particular model is the Soloist SL1, one of Jackson's signature guitars, featuring an HSS pickup layout.

It features alder body wings paired with a through-body maple neck, creating a lightweight yet resonant build. Combined with a compound radius ebony fretboard and a thin, fast neck profile, this instrument is purpose-built for speed and precision—rightfully earning its reputation as a true shred machine.

For electronics, the guitar is equipped with Seymour Duncan STK-S1 pickups in the neck and middle positions, offering traditional single-coil tone with significantly reduced noise. The bridge pickup is a Seymour Duncan TB-4 (Trembucker JB), delivering high output while still retaining rich midrange presence—perfect for classic hard rock and heavy metal tones.

Of course, the guitar also comes loaded with a Floyd Rose Original tremolo system (Made in Germany), offering excellent tuning stability even under intense dive-bombs or expressive pitch manipulation.

In terms of condition, this guitar has clearly been played and maintained regularly. It shows minor dings, scratches, and typical wear on plastic parts like pickup covers and mounting rings, along with some aging on the metal hardware. However, there are no damages that detract from its overall appearance or functionality.

The frets show minimal wear, with approximately 1.3mm of height remaining, and the truss rod functions properly within normal adjustment range.

Comes with the original hard shell case and tremolo arm.

Note: the case has a damaged foot/base section.
