This is an American-made Fender American Standard Stratocaster, estimated to be from around 1988–1989 based on the serial number.

What sets this guitar apart is the extensive customization on the neck, particularly the scalloped fingerboard. Jumbo frets have been installed, with light scalloping from the 1st to 12th fret and deep scalloping from the 13th to 22nd fret, allowing for enhanced control and expression in higher positions. The back of the neck has been stripped of its clear coat to improve playability and tactile response.

The pickups have been upgraded with DiMarzios: HS-4 in the neck position and HS-3 in the bridge. The middle pickup is unbranded and its make is unknown. The pots have been replaced with 500K units, and the nut has been swapped for a brass one, further enhancing the guitar’s tonal clarity and sustain.

The truss rod functions well in both tightening and loosening directions, and the neck is in good condition overall. Typical lacquer cracks are visible on both sides of the neck pocket. On the 6th string side, the crack appears to be only in the finish, while on the 1st string side, there are two visible cracks that extend into the wood of the body. Please refer to the photos for details.

Includes a modern Fender case with internal cushioning. One of the zippers is jammed and non-functional, but the second slider moves freely, so the case remains usable and can still be opened and closed.

This is a highly modified and unique Stratocaster that offers both vintage appeal and enhanced performance features for serious players.
